Oregon State Parks featured in AAA's July-August 2009 Via magazaine
The July-August 2009 issue of Via magazine includes an article about western state parks. "Endangered State Parks" (http://www.viamagazine.com/top_stories/articles/endangered_parks09.asp) compares Oregon's state parks system and its condition and how it is funded with those of neighboring states. Longtime Oregon state park employees M. G. Devereux (Tryon Creek State Natural Area) and Kevin Price (Vista House at Crown Point), as well as Oregon State Parks Trust's Executive Director Dave Eshbaugh, are quoted.
The same issue includes an article about how to save state parks. "Saving State Parks" (http://www.viamagazine.com/top_stories/articles/saving_parks09.asp) includes information about how to donate to Oregon State Parks Trust to support Oregon's state parks.
Via is a travel magazine for American Automobile Association members in Northern California, Nevada, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, Oregon, and southern Idaho.
Oregon State Parks Trust is the only statewide not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing Oregon's state parks.
