Dear Oregon State Parks Trust:

It was our pleasure to walk the Oregon coast this summer in support of the Oregon State Parks Trust.

We were met with warm reception at the various parks due to the emails of Jennifer Deeder with the Oregon State Parks Department.

It was a gratifying experience to meet some of the park rangers and volunteers without whose work the Oregon State Parks would not be as well maintained or as warm and friendly. It was fun to participate in the Junior Ranger Programs as well as the evening programs and let the kids as well as the adults know that there are a number of ways they can support the Oregon State Parks Trust.

We also met many people who like us enjoyed staying at your beautiful parks. Along the way we also met some folks who were just curious and inspired as they saw us walking down the road mostly on highway 101 and gave us some donations for the Oregon State Parks Trust.http://platinumrocket.com.

The first part of our journey is posted there and we will soon have the remainder of the journey up on that website.

Enclosed with this letter you will find a check which covers $112 the total of the cash donations people handed us along the way.

Bcst Wishes,

Michael McDermott & Lupe' Lucy
