OSPT joins the NW Natural campaign to promote Smart Energy

Document Actions

It is hard to imagine Oregon without its beautiful state parks.  Roaring waterfalls, mysterious caves, glacial peaks, vast ocean vistas are just some of the many wonders we depend on to rekindle our spirits.  With over 240 state parks across the state, hundreds of miles of shoreline, thousands of rivers and lakes and numerous significant cultural landmarks, our sate parklands provide cherished opportunities to escape, unwind, play, discover and inform us of where we have been and where we are headed. They are an everyday reminder of what makes Oregon great.  These vast natural areas connect us with nature in a direct way serving to enhance our physical well being, but they are also important to planetary health.  Growing vegetation absorbs carbon dioxide and helps reduce greenhouse emissions in the atmosphere.  Preservation and enhancement of these natural areas will play an important role in insuring a healthy tomorrow for future generations.

Through a time-limited campaign NW Natural shareholders will donate $10 to OSPT for each new enrollment for their Smart Energy carbon offset program.  If you are a NW Natural customer, we encourage you to take advantage of this unique offering.  But you must sign up by June 1, 2011!

Many thanks to NW Natural for including us in this program and to you for making a choice to support a healthy planet!
